DiRECTIONS TO LDM ViDEO - Where to Park

Directions:  From Dominical Beach, exit the town onto the Costanera Highway Northwest (turn left onto the highway) cross the bridge over the Baru River and immediately turn right (northeast) onto Highway 243 towards San Isidro. Continue on the 243 for about five minutes. On the right side, after a long straightway, you will see Soda Baru and Mini Super Baru. 50 meters past the Soda (before another bridge) you will see the Lagunas Main Road on your left. 4x4 Required. Turn left and continue up the LAGUNAS MAIN ROAD. Please drive safely.

After a couple minutes driving uphill, you will see on your left a sign Saying "4x4 ONLY ALIZAN". DO NOT TAKE THAT ROAD. Continue to the right and up around the bend. Continue straight and few minutes later, MAKE A LEFT AT THE LAGUNAS RIDGE ROAD where you see the Lagunas Community Sign on your left.

Continue past Oasis and Casa Tanglewood. You will see a sign for AVENIDA MIRAMAR. DO NOT take that right turn. CONTINUE UP AND TO THE RIGHT. You will take the next right at CASAS SEABREEZE LANE. Make a right turn on SEABREEZE LANE/ SEABREEZE CASAS/LAGUNAS DEL MAR.

You will pass by 2 houses with gates on your right side. When you see the next house on your left, make an immediate right onto the Lagunas Del Mar Driveway (at the sign). Continue down until you are approaching a black house on the left. Park in the lot on the right hand side, across from the gate of the black house.

Once parked, prepare yourself for a nature hike that could last 1.5 to 2.5 hours and descend up to 200= feet in elevation if you continue all the way to the North end BIG TREES AND CASCADA. Your adventure will usually include white faced monkeys, birds of many species and butterflies. Sometimes peacocks and deer too! Wear boots or shoes with traction. Stay hydrated.  Begin walking down past the white house (lot 1) driveway on the left, walk past two more driveways on the left and through the tree tunnel. At the end of the tunnel there is a fork in the road. Walk left first to view Lot 4 or walk right and down to view lot 5. If you continue down straight you will reach the 5 East Plantel. If you continue walking down but make a left you are on the road to the 5 West Plantel and the lower farm and the cascading waterfall at the very bottom of the North end.
